Catching glimpses of the fall foliage before it vanishes on the drive to Sunapee Lake in ew Hampshire and Claremont New Hampshire, we stopped in Claremont for lunch and to continue the search for the best cider donut. Before eating at the Revolution Cafe, we stopped into FlowStudios, one of the newest shopfronts in the Moody Building, in Opera House Square> Proprietors and tattoo artists Justin Melton and Marissa Sta[les welcomed us with several other customers who were looking at hand made crystal wraps, paintings from local artists, candles, and Halloween treats given out to customer’s children and “big kids” with a sweet tooth!
I loved the chess board set up in the front window, and the books and magazines in a cozy corner. One friend of the studio was sitting with his coffee and phone, quick to talk about social media and tattoos. We loved the welcoming atmosphere. Although we didn’t stay for a tattoo, we’ll return near the holidays for the scenery of the rolling hills in Claremont, the great walkable shopfronts downtown, some local gifts from Flow Studios and maybe a chess game with Marissa.
If you’re in Claremont, it’s worth a stop!
